Torabika Visit to Coffee Farmers

Tuesday, 9 June 2015 Corporate CSR team made a visit to the coffee farmers and Demplot farm built by Torabika to see the results of the implementation of mentoring program and field practice that has been conducted since October 2014 until April 2015.
Handover of contribution program was rousing and attended by Ulu Belu district head, village heads, and also more than 200 farmers trained in the district Ulubelu. Assistance was given to the 3 of demplot farmers and 8 training farmer groups in the form of 3 units of a coffee machine, 8 tons of organic fertilizer and agricultural tools. The assistance is expected to help the cultivation and post-harvest coffee so that their yields increased compared to the previous harvest.
With the CSR Torabika, coffee farmers well welcomed because it has been perceived benefits that the program is able to make good relationship, build the spirit of mutual cooperation and form them into a more modern coffee farmers.

Elementary School Students visit to PT. Torabika Eka Semesta
In order to introduce the technology and the world of work from an early age especially to elementary school students, Bina Gita Gemilang School (SBGG) in cooperation with PT. Torabika Eka Semesta Ground Coffee Division held the “Student Visit to Torabika Factory”.

CSR Planting Trees in Pasuruan

PT Tirta Fresindo Jaya Pasuruan in cooperation with KODIM 0819 Pasuruan and SI Hijau Foundation had activity to plant 2.000 productive trees in Pasuruan. The trees are divided into 1,000 Durian trees and 1,000 trees clove. This activity is one manifestation from the company to the environment, especially the area of catchment (catchment area). The purpose of planting so that the area of catchment that already deforested can be replanted so it can receive or absorb rainwater, and the water can be reused by our children and grandchildren in the future. And the economic result of the productive plants we have planted can be utilized by the community and the trees will not be cut down.
